The system doesn't work
In this case, the EA doesn't show any alert window when new signal text coming in the Telegram signal channel.
1. Check if the Telegram is protected
If you can't copy or forward messages in the signal channel, it means the signal channel is protected. In this case, the Telegram Reader can't read the signal text in the channel, we will use a tool TeleFeed: Auto Forward Bot to solve this problem.
We will forward all the signal texts in the protected Telegram channel to your own channel (create one if you don't have any own channel), then use the Telegram Reader app to read you own channel to trade.
Let start to chat with the bot in the below link with a text "/start" (without quotes) to begin to now how to use it.
2. Check if the Telegram Reader app is running
- Make sure the Telegram Reader app is running: The app should be running all the time to get the messages in the signal channel. Make sure it is running by it's icon on the taskbar and a running window popups when you click the icon.
- Make sure the run button has a text "Stop". It means the app is running and you can click this Stop button to stop the app.
- Check if the signal text source file contains a last message of the signal channel: Open the signal text source file and compare it's contain with the last text in the signal channel.
3. Check if the EA is running
- See a smile face. You can easily find that the EA is running by seeing a smile face on the left top of a chart where the EA is running on.
- Make sure the Auto Trading button is enabled
- Make sure the "Allow live trading" check box is checked in the "Common" tab of the EA properties.
